Praise the Lord!
I pray this time of fasting is exciting and important to you. I want to prophetically encourage and stir you up to look for God during this fast. Fasting is a time when hungry people get together to be fed fresh manna from heaven. I believe we can change the course of this year simply because we are fasting before the Lord. What an exciting thought that this is a fast God has chosen and from heaven is baking up fresh manna to feed us individually and corporately. God has attached scriptural promises to fasting and also we have scriptural evidence of what happens when a people fast and pray to the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth! Fasting is not manipulation but movement! God moves on behalf of those who self-deny and self-sacrifice for their destiny. I believe destiny is tied up during this time of fasting and consecrating. God is going to quickly and suddenly move on our behalf. Daniel sums it up the best, “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery, but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. (Daniel 11:32) Fasting makes our flesh week, but our Spirit strong! Fasting is a conduit God uses so that we can get to know Him, so you know what that means. Yes! Great Exploits! Enjoy the ministry of the Holy Spirit! Get ready for a suddenly season of power, peace, praise and prosperity! Loving seeking God with You!
